I am a fully accreditated member of the Irish Association of Counsellers and Psychotherapists (IACP). My approch to therapy is integrative focusing on person-centred and empathetic. I utilise various theories in my work depending on the clients needs. I have a particular interest in grief processing & trauma work but am not limited to these. I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is instrumental in bringing about lasting change and growth for the client.
I offer one to one counselling and therapy to individuals, in person or online and am certified and insured to practice with people over the age of 16.
Qualifications
BA Hons Psychology & English, Level 5 Certificate in Counselling & Psychotherapy, M.A. in Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy (Clinical).
My approach to therapy is integrative which means I largely base how I work off of what the client needs and what they are coming for. I have worked with a variety of people from different cultural & societal backgrounds and any and all walks of life are welcome in my practice.
I have experience in working with such topics (but not limited to): grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, attachment issues, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), relationship issues as well as sexuality issues.
As part of my work I practice CBT, body work, trauma processing, psychodynamic psychotherapy, humanistic therapy, person-centred & Gestalt work.
